DMOM2501C is a compact Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera module that combines a 100 × 100-pixel global-shutter sensor with 940 nm, 3 W VCSEL illumination. The published module specification defines a measurement range of up to 6 m, a 44° (H) × 44° (V) field of view, and 15 / 30 fps typical frame-rate options for embedded 3D-sensing evaluation.
Depth accuracy is specified as ≤ 1% or ≤ 1 cm. Because the specification does not state target reflectivity, ambient-light level, integration time, calibration method or accuracy test distance, validate final range and accuracy in the intended optical and mechanical system.
Global-shutter depth acquisition
The module uses a global-shutter sensor with 15 µm pixels on a 1/6-inch sensor format. Its 100 × 100 depth resolution is intended for compact 3D-sensing designs where a low-resolution depth map is appropriate for the engineering task.
Defined optical envelope
DMOM2501C specifies 940 nm VCSEL illumination at 3 W, with a 44° × 44° field of view and < 2.5% distortion. These published optical values help engineers assess coverage and illumination compatibility; complete-system performance still depends on optics, target properties, calibration and operating conditions.
Embedded interface and power reference
Depth data is output through a two-lane MIPI CSI-2 interface. The specification lists a 27 MHz input clock, 3.3 V sensor supply at ≥ 300 mA, and 4.6 V VCSEL supply at ≥ 2 A. Typical module power consumption is 800 mW at 15 fps. Confirm receiver compatibility, power sequencing, thermal design, pinout and software support with the integration documentation before design release.
