Depth calculation of ToF camera is not affected by the grayscale and features of the surface of the object, and can perform 3D detection very accurately; while the binocular stereo camera requires the target to have good feature changes, otherwise depth calculation will not be possible. The depth calculation accuracy of ToF camera does not change with the change of distance, and it can basically be stabilized at the cm level, which is very meaningful for some large-scale motion applications. These advantages make it easier to promote in industry.
